Semi-automatic hydraulic double miter saw designed for cutting large sections.
It is built with a massive base structure and cast iron components, one-piece welded steel head combined with a 34 mm (1”1/4) blade height, a powerful gearbox motor 4 kW (5.5 HP) with electronic variator to ensure maximum stability and outstanding cutting performance. The high-quality construction and the compact footprint make this model unique in its range.
Thanks to the Carif Patented Hydraulic System with feed and pressure regulator, the 550 can cut any type of material and thickness. The blade cuts through the material with constant auto-regulation according to the material cross-section, significantly improving performance and extending blade life.

FRAME
The Heavy duty welded structural steel frame precision-machined on our machining center in a single setup, guarantees the cutting of solid bars up to 330 mm diameter (13”) and 550 mm (21”) plate.
WHEELS
Made of ductile cast iron of a diameter 400mm (dia. 16”) to ensure high tensile strength and wear resistance.
MAIN CONTROL
Ergonomic control panel with integrated display for managing all cutting functions: speed adjustment, cut start position memory (Start/end cut positions are memorized by the potentiometer on the arm pivot. The blade returns to the starting position at the end of the cycle. Possibility of performing intermediate cuts), piece counter, coolant system, Mist system(opt) laser (opt), and work light (opt)
ECCENTRIC ROLLER
The roller lifts the material slightly above the support surface to facilitate the feeding of heavy short pieces.
BLADE SWITCH AND LOAD CELL
Blade tension is displayed and controlled through a load cell, while the blade switch stops the machine in case of blade breakage or drive wheel slippage.
GEAR BOX MOTOR
Powerful 6.5Hp motor paired with Heavy-duty worm gear reducer to ensure high torque, transmitted directly to the drive wheel through a Ø65 mm transmission galvanized shaft.
POTENTIOMETER

WORKPIECE SURFACES
