1948
The company was founded by Cesare Canna. It began as a small mechanical workshop producing accessories for machine tools.
1952
The first Carif sawing machine with a reciprocating motion and mechanical descent is introduced.
1960
Production of the first semi-automatic and automatic reciprocating saws, exported throughout Europe.
1980
Production has shifted to band-saw technology. The company quickly adapted its production by manufacturing high-performance, user-friendly band saws, thanks to a patent for an invention and a utility model.
1995 – 2010
CNC machines that have continuously evolved, with ongoing technological improvements over the years.
2010 – 2020
Carif continues to evolve with significant improvements in both production and design. Carif is now in its third generation of family ownership.
2021 – Today
Major investments in machinery and strengthened partnerships have boosted efficiency while enabling us to maintain fully in-house production. At the same time, over these years we have focused on developing machines with a modern and attractive design.
