Carif 260 AUTO is the most compact automatic bandsaw on the market, with a footprint of 1.5 m2 (17sq/feet). Designed to minimize setup time and be easy to operate, quick to switch between semi-automatic and automatic cutting mode.
Double miter up to +60°/-45. It is Integrated with modern and intuitive 4.0 software for easy creation of cutting programs and thanks to USB and LAN connection possibility to transfer cutting list.
The 260 AUTO is the perfect solution for any workshop/welding shop, handling a wide variety of jobs—from small quantities to larger production batches.

FEATURES
The main features of 260 AUTO 4.0
DOUBLE MITER
Double Miter cut -45°/+60° in Semi-Automatic and -45°/+45° in Automatic mode. Manual frame rotation. Two tapered roller bearings in the head casting support ensure smooth, stable movement, independent of the material’s resting surface.
FEED SYSTEM
Rigid cast iron carriage mounted on trapezoidal stainless steel screw + thread nut . Precise feed for multiple cuts (±0.1 mm tolerance), driven by a stepper motor with integrated encoder for accurate cut length measurement.
GEAR PUMP
Patented Hydraulic system for a smooth adjustment of the bow feed and cutting pressure. At cycle start, the vise clamps hydraulically and the saw bow automatically descends. At the end of the cutting operation, the vise opens and the saw bow automatically returns to its initial upper position.
MAIN CONTROL PANEL
Ergonomic control panel with integrated 7” display, complete of USB port and LAN connection.
POTENTIOMETER
The start/end cutting points are memorized through a potentiometer mounted on the pivot point of the bow. The blade automatically returns to the preset position.
BLADE SWITCH + END MATERIAL SWITCH
The proximity switch mounted on the front wheel automatically stops the cycle in case the blade breaks or slippers, while the switch mounted on the carriage stops the machine when the material ends during the automatic cycle.
PRACTICAL WORKING AREA
Large, easily removable tables offering a wide and ergonomic post-cut working surface. Length of 280 mm after the blade, the table provides optimal support for multiple cut pieces. Once worn, the tables can be turned upside down, always providing a new working surface.
LED LIGHT
Power indicator LED which in the event of an emergency stop or end of material, turns into a flashing red light clearly visible from a distance, indicating cycle interruption.
CARIF SOFTWARE 4.0
User-Friendly Software to program/store unlimited cutting programs by name or part code. USB and LAN connection to transfer cutting programs/updates. Carif Software 4.0 for remote monitoring.
CHIPS TANK
Large chip tray complete with a perforated tank that allows coolant to pass through while retaining swarf. Easy to clean.
COOLANT SYSTEM
Coolant tank 50lt capacity + powerful coolant-pump with stainless steel protection.
MEASURING DEVICE
Measuring hard stop L=500 mm with height regulation.
